I just wanted to jot you a quick note to thank you for all that you did last week and the weeks leading up to such an outstanding series of events. You did an absolutely fabulous job of orchestrating everything, and we had just a phenomenal time! Everything was perfect – first class all the way. I know these events are not easy to put together, so thank you very much for all of your extremely hard work on all of it. It definitely showed! Also, please thank your entire team for me (and Tennille!).

I wanted to thank the entire SBA team for all of the hard work last week during National Small Business Week. In my business we do a lot of work with meeting planners and corporate groups. I understand the incredible undertaking it is to put together all of the details and logistics of a week like last week. From the invitations to booking the event space to transportation the time and energy needed to make sure everything goes smoothly is quite the job. Not only did the entire SBA team put together a memorable week and remarkable schedule for those of us that attended but you did so while still having the responsibility of your normal job requirements. Thank you so much for putting together such a great week.

I wanted to thank all of you for a fantastic experience last week. I can’t begin to tell you how many good words I’ve heard about the healthcare forum. You did us a real favor by inviting us to participate, and it’s sincerely appreciated. It was a pleasure working with all of you on this project. The arrangements were all handled very professionally and efficiently. So I’m hoping we’ll have the opportunity to work together again. On a personal basis, I was thrilled to have an opportunity to participate in the State Department and White House receptions.

I wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did to make Small Business Week an experience we will never forget. It was a huge undertaking, and it is amazing how smoothly everything went (at least from the perspective of those of us who only had to show up and enjoy!) I hope it doesn’t take too long for you and the rest of the team to recover.
This opportunity meant so much to me personally as well as to my wife and business partner Beth, and our two daughters Maris and Kelsey. We will always be grateful for your kindness and hard work in making this happen for us and all the other winners and guests.

Last week I went to the National Small Business Week Awards in Washington D.C to accept the award for 2008 SBA SubContractor of the Year Region VIII. It was a fantastic few days. In addition to the Award Luncheon, there was a Reception at the White house where President Bush gave a speech in the East Room. Thank you ITT Industries for the nomination, the SBA for the recognition, and the employees of ML Tech/NexOne, whose outstanding service and support led to this award.
