SBA Exporter of the Year
Neal Asbury
President, Greenfield Worldtrade, Inc.
Neal Asbury, a constant crusader for international trade, has been involved in managing international business interest for U.S. manufacturers since 1979. After living in the developing world for several years, he opened his first business in 1987, Asbury Associates, which he grew into one of the largest restaurant equipment export management companies in North America. He subsequently launched two other companies involved in exporting food service equipment. He sold them in 1999, paving the way for his current ventures: Greenfield Worldtrade, a global export management company representing over 40 well-know American food service equipment manufactures and Asbury Foodservice Equipment Co. Greenfield provides the eyes and ears in the foodservice equipment market for companies that don’t have an international infrastructure. The company employs a multilingual and multicultural staff of over 45, with sales topping $30 million in 2007, a three-year increase of 30 percent.
The panel will focus on emerging markets access and strategies for small businesses to tap into the global marketplace, including the collaborative technologies that can be valuable to any trade strategy.
