Matt HoganBruen

Managing Director

Bank of America

Mr. HoganBruen is located in Washington, D.C. and focuses on due diligence, structuring investment opportunities, and benchmarking. He has been with Bank of America since 1994. Before joining the BACAF team, Mr. HoganBruen spearheaded Bank of America’s national charter school lending activities and managed a Mid-Atlantic-based portfolio of for-profit, nonprofit, and faith based clients. Mr. HoganBruen previously worked as a commercial lender and consultant in Chicago for Bank of America from 1994 to 1998. Prior to working at Bank of America, Mr. HoganBruen spent two years as a legislative aide for a United States Representative in Washington, D.C. He currently serves on the board of Cornerstone, Inc., which finances permanent housing for the mentally ill. Mr. HoganBruen holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, an MA from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Oxford University in England. He is also a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute.
